I helped Cesar locate a billion and one different FAQs for his beloved PS2. We should all be so loved. Te digo!
This Saturday is the ORI party of a lifetime in Cangas and beyond. I'm packin my bathing suit and forcing the sun to shine. I want some sun. I was reminded by Verena to add Jens' photo to the friends site. I must remember to add him and Steven -- and I think there are some other new people in there as well. I cannot recall.
Today, Miss Leah and I downloaded a few old skool Sesame Street songs. Stuff from the show and stuff from records we both used to have when we were kids. GOOD times. I made my new favorite quick dish: Pasta Al Nuro. It's oil, garlic, and parsley. Not TOO healthy, but it was scrumptious. I also drew a bit today, and have started a new theory project using multiple layers to simulate new graffiti. I think I'm about 65% of the way there to begin a truly realistic approach. If so, ROCK ON. I could have a tutorial in the making! Look out Scott Kelby (god of Photoshop), Nur's comin through!
Shoutout blog to my cool pal in WI, Bob, who now is married to Ion. That's some good chosing on his end. I approve -- a lot.
Meanwhile, I MUST drag myself to the ORI -- are we seeing a trend? I tell the bloglings that I need to get up, and I don't... but this time, I mean it. and when I blog again, I'll tell you all how tired I was, but I got up and out of bed! Promises promises.
OH! FABULOUS NEWS: As we are all no strangers to this, Yas and Tom are my two best friends. Last night, in a freak accident, commonly known also as the total eclipse of the sun, moon, and stars, they both logged onto AIM and we had a rip-roarin good time in our own private chat. Since Yas had to go play the happy homemaker online, we've set a reunion chat up for 12am my time on Saturday night (3pm pacific, 6 pm eastern for them) and only time can tell you how much of a @$$kickin good time I'll have. On a score of 0-10, I know I'm gonna be having an 11 at the least. That's how much I miss my boo and Jack, the BDG.
So, en total, shoutout blog to Bob and Ion, CXG, shoutout to Yasmin Miranda and Thomas-Andr.
Missing home but good pasta and (*groan*) banana pancakes -- I shall not curse the day B'Lana Torres taught me to love them...
and another extra yo-yo-my peepz to Leah and Verena who check out the site daily to see if I've written something about them and their grrlish hijinx -- I have. ;-)
