oh yes. Before I forget... I ran into Laurie today. She confirmed it. She doesn't really go to classes. She has to dedicate her time to going to (get this...) church choir practice.... NIGHTLY. Lord help her -- she's gone over the deep end. "What do you do then," I asked, "if you don't go to class?" "Oh, I hang out with my host-sister, and shop." I hate Laurie now. ::grin:: I wanna shop daily with endless ammounts of money. I could buy oh so many things!
Also: Laurie gave me some new news on the Tragic Life of Elyssa Newcomer-Dyer -- this time it really is worth noting without humor. Apparently, her grandfather died. Sad. When my grandmother Anne died, it hit me and my brothers pretty hard. I hope she's okay -- that was sincere. Losing loved ones can be tough -- even for people whom you cannot stand very much.
In all honesty, I don't hate Elyssa -- she amuses me. But this folly isn't amusing, and I wanted to take this blog to give her a moderately affectionate shoutout blog to say so and give my official condolances.
