I tried to blog today, but I had some problems with my computer -- Nebari's not happy that the blogs are getting more attention in my posts than she is. So, here's my chance to introduce everyone to my computer, Nebari. Os presento. fin.
BBQ facts: I went shopping with Leah, Verena, and Jenz today. Not bad. I got everything on my list -- apparently, there was no molasses in Alcampo, but there was maple syrup -- which is not the same thing, mind you -- but it works all the same. I got some conflicting messages from people about who was coming to the BBQ, and at the last count we had 20 -- which is bad because I didn't shop for 20 people. It's good that we are blessed with such wonderful and kind friends (with the exception of Laura -- I'll tell you later). but I don't want people to pay 3.15 and not get their fill... I like being fair. Leah says I'm too fair. Eh.
So I started cooking at, oh, 9pm, and we finished at 3:30am. not bad. Leah and I got the potato salad, guacamole, and the baked beans done -- they're cooking on the stove all night. I also got my BBQ sauce done -- it's mightly fingerlickingood. Also: Vanessa Carlton's 1000 Miles is a terrific song. It'll be on my playlist for a while.
Before I forget... I woke up at 6:04am on Tues morning -- not sure why, and opened up Windows Notepad and hit the autodate key (F5) and then typed DOD/OD ... anyone know what that means? I DON'T!
Speaking of crazies... after Carla, Leah, and a surprise-visit-Chris and I had lunch, my mommy logged on MSN and we discussed my housing situation at MU this fall... which is null. So she called Oxford Real Estate, and put me on cross-Atlantic-3way... my choices are grim, but not terrible. I wanna see what my options will open up to later. I don't want to live with a (probably kind, but still a) First-year or stranger for my fourth and (everyone together, now...) final year. I forgive my mommy for forgetting my housing issue since December... sorta. She hasn't forgiven herself, but it's okay... I'll land no my feet ... somehow.
Laura & her evil name calling: She came to my room on the pretense that she was gonna help with dinner -- NO. She and Lucila decided (and I don't know how I said they could, but I must have...) they wanted to apply for the olympics. but since their names/streets/whatnots have accented letters , , etc., their webform wasn't being accepted. So I fixed it for them. Laura then, while I'm working at the computer, fixing something that wasn't on my list of things to do (I'm just nice, remember that!) she picked up the phone, called Ral, and put the phone to my ear. Ral picked up, and says "hola" and I'm all hmm, that sounds like Ral...
What does maricn mean?
It means faggot.
Now if a stranger had the nerve to call me that, I'd ignore it, because it's a stranger and I haven't the time to defend myself to someone whose opinion I don't care about. But when it's a person I consider a friend, whom I spend a considerable ammount of time with... that just gets to me. How rude. and I was inscensed, and kicked her chair, hard, saying
My rant is way too long.
The BBQ is soon upon me, and I have a ton of work to do before I 12pm... so I must sleep. Much love to everyone... except for Laura -- poopygirl.
She and I always have a story for everything. I was Chinese in a past life. She was Jewish in hers.
Today is shoppinz day for tomorrow is a gran picnic. Oh how I wish Sethala were here for this. He's such a cool guy!
Then at 4... beloved English class. Can you read how much I look forward to ENG?
About Barbara from yesterday's post... Mnica asked me to help her create a CD for her mommy -- why is it that older womyn like Babs so much?! I dunno. The only song I've downloaded for her so far is a duet with Judy Garland -- SHUT UP! I am not that gay! She just has a good voice, that's all. I don't like Babs, tho.
I hope that tomorrow and tonight, I'll have more to add to the site -- at least create a difinitive listing on my friends/family page. I encourage anyone reading this page to email me if they would like to be in the friends (& family section) just to be sure that I've not forgotten him/her/it/them.
Finally, I woke up at 6:04 AM and hit the record time button in Windows notepad for some odd reason in a fit of sleepy stupor. I have NO clue why I wrote "dod/od" underneath it. I clearly remember doing this, but no clue why. The only ones who know, I'm sure are my blogs, and they're mysteriously silent. Sadness on my part.
Away, go I, to showerland (for .3 minutes) and then a'shoppinz!

Our hero, dutiful as ever, perpared a lovely two course meal of spagetti in a red sauce and a delightful salad -- winning the heart of Verena's intended and thus sealing his fate forever (plus, Leah said this was a really good sauce too!)
Lucila stopped by earlier for my opinion between an all-girls college in GA or a Jesuit college in CT. Eventually, I decided on Georgia with its great night life in HOTlanta and the excellent experience she would have from an all-girls school. Laura stopped by a little later, while we ate dinner, and chatted. Then, after the Germans went to back to Verena's apartment to make-out, claiming that they were quote-unquote tired, Lucila left too, leaving Leah, Laura, and I to discuss Jens's ass. Dream analysis followed and then a sampling Leah's kiwi sorbet ("mmm... light, yet ... brown.")
I am grieved to report that I had nearly forgotten my dearest blogs. Usally, I would have posted several times a today -- but because of a headache, Barbara Streisand, and the 3rd coming of Jesus (i.e., an email of much importance), not to mention Lucila's college issue and Jens arrival, our plucky hero was too pooped to pop. But never fear! Leah "0.001 WPM" Keating was here to keep the blog love a'flowin'.
P.S. the Secret Word of the Day is ... perenthesis.

Lovely Laura (with her hair that she doesn't appreciate -- there are some children in China who don't have hair) and Funky Lucila (with the fun green flower print shirt!) came over and we learned the truth about American men -- we're all dead sexy. Yes indeed. and Laura... we'll, I called her superficial -- in Spanish, which translates to, in Spanish, superficial...
After dinner, laughter, and kicking my cool chicas out, it was time for the washing of the dishes and dimming the lights to see High Crimes which wasn't bad at all -- except for the end plot twist. Ashley Judd rocks my world. Nifty actress. She knows her stuff.
Now that Wade and Leah are gone, I'm here getting ready for bed... but not before I give a shoutout Blog to Alison "Karen 'Honey, what's this?'"-"Shaquita Jenkins" Strickland for being there for me -- even when she doesn't even know it's true. I miss how she makes me laugh, even when she's bored and doesn't know how. (gush gush gush lovely things about Karen...) the end.
Thanks for the blogories.
Let the downloads begin! I've been looking for Vanilla Sky and the first 1/2 of Artificial Intelligence. It's not gonna happen with AI, but I'm a devout believer in the net. But that's why Capt. Sweeter is sending us Changing Lanes ... and last night I got High Crimes from her. YIPPY KI YI YAY.
I also have to send a shoutout blog to Yas and Tom who have responded to my call for more communication between us -- they are true friends. I adore them so much.
My brother Sid's soon to send me pics of his trip to Spain to visit me. Excellent. It's all falling into place. Now if I can only find the Jade Monkey before the full moon ...
The Webcam section is now on my mind. I've already begun the listings of the Friends section. Don't even think that Art section will be up before Tues or Wed -- but at least my blogs are here for me.

Leah made some nummy curry lemon rice and is now making some tortilla espaola -- and Verena helped!
Wade stopped by to deliver the cheese grater -- we all applied Verena's milkyhappyskintime lotion (even me, who doesn't like the BURNING sensation on his skin) and we all enjoyed the hypercoloring on Wade's back and shoulders. Verena wanted to paint a picture using her fingers, but we stopped her just in time.
The continuation of the CDs continue ... Nathaniel Minto would be glad to know that I'm playing Absolute: The Good Ones in his honor. If he has a new CD, I need to get it, as I'm a fan of his smooth tunes and lyrics.
Blog on, my bloglings!
Working on webcam theories for the site -- also Sweeter makes me happy with High Crimes, whist I have part 2 of 2 (but not one) to A.I. Awww, cute lil android. I hope he doesn't die once he hits, like 16.
I return to my apartment which has no water -- and may be fixed tonight, or may be waterless until Monday (as this is Saturday, this is BAD.)
I shall send my blogs to attack anyone who does not destroy this injustice. Fly my pretties! Fly my blogs!
In short. Beach with friends good (& Nur packed a picnic lunch for all!), no water when one has sand his his shorts bad.
Also I'd like to send a shoutout blog to Sweeter, goddess of online media, for the new Eminem song "Without Me." It's got some funky beats -- yet sadly, Eminem has yet to learn that controversy doesn't mean having to be an asshole. There. I said it. Eminem is an asshole. Yea, yea, I know... NO DUH!
BeachyBlogLove with new seashells for my apartment. Decorations abound!
Blogs. We bring families closer, one blog at a time.
Much love to Abbydabbydo.

A shoutout blog goes to Jeffrey, sexyblu, for being online to keep my company while I drive myself insane with site revitalization -- and of course, my beloved blogs.
On a less-personal note, I'd like to give a shoutout blog to Tom who ponders muffin/fruit baskets in SanFran -- it's all about the envelope... push it, don't shove it. I think a nice tactful bribe will work fine -- just remember about the referencer ... they make the difference.
The blogs have spoken.
Also, the menu system might get shuffled around. I'm hoping that anonymous friend's boyfriend will teach me the blessed mother of all menus ... THE FLOATING SCROLLING MENU. If so, happyness abound. If not, I may have to continue to break the new faux pas of webbing: FRAMES. Sad.
